Repo! The Genetic Opera

Repo! Is one of those few movies where bluray did it no favors.  Sure it is a gorgeous bluray copy that isn't the problem.  What works against is it that it is too clear.  With the dvd the lines between set and cg were not so clear and Zydrate had such a nice uniformed glow.

The movie is an under apreciated dark treat.  While the songs are not grammy winners and the performances are not to be belived... it is a fun ride so sit down strap in and press play.

Fangirl comment of the movie was a question on if the creators read a lot of CLAMP... it does have the elements.  Blood, snow, feathers, and the loss of an eye are all CLAMP signatures.
